Oh, I'm so curious where at in North Dakota! I am born & raised & still living in the state -- so many people forget about it because they think it's too flat & has nothing to offer, but I love it & being from here so so so much! I do, however, wish I was in NYC to be able to check out your show! Excited for you to share the photos, Mari!

This is so amazing and so Mari! Will there be any way that we non-NYC folks can check out your work? ❣️

Oh, how I wish I could teleport myselft to NYC. I just love this subway scene, it is so moving. When you talked about wool and felt, I never envisioned actual tableaux! And the theme... whatever medium you choose, you bring your whole self to it. I feel very grateful for the way you look at the world.

(And may I ask what the podcast is about? Shabbat is something I have been thinking about for a little while now - also you have sent me on a Michael Easter spiral, now I have been contemplating what my misogi for the year should be XD)

GET RIGHT OUT OF TOWN!!! That wool subway scene?!?! It makes my heart do ALL of the somersaults!!! Plus North Dakota sourced?? "Holy Joy," yes a thousand times. Ohhhh I hope to see the pigeons and rats via some sort of virtual/digital/pictorial expression once your show begins! And if I could physically BE there, Mari, oh how I would. My whole body aches that I can't! From one artist to another, I wish you the very best in what I can only imagine will be just the most quintessentially Mari space! I'm just over the moon about every single literal and figurative fiber of this beautiful expression of YOU.
